# AI Outsiders

> AI Outsiders is a community for people who use AI on real work but don't write code: business owners, professionals and knowledge workers who are willing to try, learn and put in the work. It goes with Inside AI, Charlie Barmore's weekly newsletter. One line for both: "Inside AI, for AI Outsiders."

AI Outsiders is run by Charlie Barmore, a CPA, not an engineer, who learned all of this by doing it. The community is free to join at https://charliebarmore.eden.so/ai-outsiders (or joinaioutsiders.com/join).

## Why it exists

A lot of the AI world is run by engineers and developers, and non-technical people can end up feeling like outsiders. But non-technical people are building and doing incredible things with AI every day. AI Outsiders is their space.

## Who it's for

- Smart people who run businesses or do skilled work and feel like AI is happening somewhere else.
- Not developers, not AI insiders.
- Members show hardware and software they built with AI and get feedback and support. Showing is welcome; selling isn't: it is not a vendor marketplace.
- It isn't hype, news for its own sake, or a course.
